i never really got posting lyrics. a lot of people seem to do that huh.

so i decided to jump on the bandwagon.

speaking of which, i think i first learnt this term from harry potter. when Ron was talking about someone jumping on the bandwagon to support a Quidditch team.

this proves that reading helps okay.


friends here are already starting their 10-month studying spree all the way to the pinnacle of malaysian education - the SPM or Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (for other derivations of this acronym, refer to minxian's blog). i say pinnacle because most people, i mean, most non-Malays leave overseas to further their tertiary education after this so-called milestone in life.

now i'm not perpetuating any racial sterotypes here. i'm just saying what i believe to be true. it's a known fact that Malays can get into universities here far easier than their fellow countrymen. and of course i assume that all human beings are born equal so naturally we, the non-Malays, would find it more challenging to get into the prestigious, or should i say, unggul, universities here.

so naturally, SPM would represent the zenith of our proud Malaysian education.

back to my studious friends, i wish you all the best, and that this studying-thing isn't just a rush of blood because it's the new year. nor do i hope this will become some abandoned new year resolution.

someone told me that a study shows that most new year resolutions fail by valentine's day.

so i'd say set targets for our resolutions. or milestones. like valentine's day, then april's fool, labour's day, mid-year holidays, singapore's national day, malaysia's national day, deepavali, hari raya (whichever comes first) and finally christmas.

and you're done for a year! yay!

there. so you have it: my foolproof plan to fulfilling those resolutions of yours. applause is optional.


oh yes. as testimony to keeping in line with MY resolutions. my minesweeping exploits have been up a notch since the new year. i even have a new high score o.o
